Behavioral Health Clinician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Behavioral Health Clinician role based in Davidson, NC. The clinician will provide direct client care, including comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and the development of individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions, and regularly monitoring client progress. The role involves maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and participating in treatment team. The clinician will also provide crisis intervention as needed, engage in outreach and education to support client engagement, and uphold all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of practice. Qualifications Possession of a relevant clinical license or provisional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCMHC, or equivalent) in the state of North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain such licensure. Graduate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience managing crises, assessing risk, and implementing safety plans in collaboration with clients and care teams. Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using electronic health record (EHR) systems or willingness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting while also managing an independent caseload and time-sensitive tasks. Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered care, with openness to ongoing training and supervision. CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with community mental health resources are preferred.
