Feed Mill Driver

The primary responsibility of a Feed Mill Driver is to load and deliver feed from the Feed Mill to the designated grower farms in a safe manner.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

Clear understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Must have at least 1 year commercial driving experience.

Must have a clear MVR.

Must be able to train to load own truck (occasionally).

Must be able to open and close the drop gates or feed trailer compartments.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work in a warm, dusty environment.

Work in a cold, moist environment.

Push and/or pull heavy objects.

Walk up and down multiple flights of stairs multiple times daily.

Have no fear of heights.

Be able to stoop/bend, balance.

Be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

Be able to reach with hands/arms.

Be able to withstand moderate to loud noises.

Be able to sit for extended periods.

Be able to lift/handle up to 50 pounds.

Be physically qualified according to FMCSR.

Be able to work overtime when needed.

Follow SOP's and GMP's as outlined by the facility.
