Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 nursing care on the bus for a student with significant medical requirements Monitor and manage trach and tube suctioning procedures safely Collaborate with school staff to ensure the students health and safety during transport Maintain accurate healthcare documentation and communication with healthcare providers and families Qualifications Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required Experience with tracheostomy care and tube suctioning essential Background in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day Commitment to a contract spanning the ESY, with options to extend into the next school year Location & Schedule: Position based in North Tonawanda, NY, with a start date ASAP Work includes bus rides to out-of-district schools within surrounding areas Part-time schedule designed to meet students transportation needs This is an excellent opportunity for nurses comfortable working independently in a school-related setting, providing critical health support during student transportation.
