As a Security Officer Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Monitor access points and help support visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate departments or entrances as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
