Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: RTO: Max 7 days. Weekends as needed (likely every other weekend).

Special Requests: Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day). If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, traveler will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off. If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic cases, COPD, sepsis, and end-of-life care. May care for occasional stable open heart surgery patients transferred out of ICU, typically day 4-5 post-op. Additional unit populations may include peritoneal dialysis, cardiac disease, stroke, joint replacements, observation, and fast turnaround patients. Could care for COVID patients. Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.

Floating Requirements: Will float to all MS floors, including floors that take stroke patients (3South) and peritoneal dialysis (4East), and potentially rehab.
