Speech Language Pathologist Contract Position
Step into a meaningful contract position supporting early childhood students in a vibrant school setting near Elburn, IL. This full-time role spans from November 20, 2026, through mid-March 2027 and provides a rewarding opportunity to influence young learners' development and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois PEL/SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Expertise in early childhood caseloads is an advantage
- Must be comfortable working onsite throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for early childhood students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services tailored to each child's needs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and provide consultative guidance
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions
- Foster a positive, communicative, and inclusive classroom environment
This contract offers a steady, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, giving you the opportunity to build strong connections with your students and school staff over the four-month assignment.
