Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays including 4th of July & Labor Day (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR : EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept : ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Unit Information:

• Bed size: varies from unit to unit
• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings - 1:4/5, Nights - 1:6
• Types of patients: all types involved with med surg & stepdown
• scrub colors: black, navy
• Float: Will float between Med Surg & Stepdown

• Critical care experience [nice to have]
• experience administering nitro, heparin, amiodarone including titrates [required]
• neurology care experience [preferred]
• oncology care experience [preferred]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 36 months progressive care, stepdown or med surg / medical surgical experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job ( progressive care, stepdown or med surg / medical surgical ) - [required]
• Nursy's must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission - [required] [document]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver's License [document] [required]
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/client ACLS; advanced cardiac life support - [required]
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS; basic life support - [required]
