We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a growing construction-focused organization in Rockville, Minnesota. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling high-volume payroll activity, navigating multi-state requirements, and maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment. The role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to contribute to a team that values reliability, compliance, and strong administrative support.

Responsibilities:
• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for employees working across multiple states, ensuring deadlines are met and records remain accurate.
• Maintain payroll data for a workforce of more than 200 employees, reviewing hours, earnings, deductions, and adjustments before each payroll run.
• Apply federal, state, and local payroll rules correctly, including tax withholdings and other statutory obligations.
• Administer wage garnishments, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related withholdings in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies by working with internal teams to verify timekeeping, pay changes, and employee records.
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation to assist with audits, reconciliation, and management review.
• Keep payroll files organized and up to date while protecting confidential employee and compensation information.
