As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail mall environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and help to document relevant details for follow-up.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, offer directions and assistance to the public, and help to support an orderly environment during business hours and special events.
• Observe for maintenance, lighting, housekeeping, and/or policy-related issues across the location and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
