Registered Veterinary Technician- RVT Northfield

Northfield Veterinary Technician Opportunity

For the technician who still gets excited about learning something new. One day you're helping a puppy through its first visit. The next you're monitoring anesthesia during surgery, assisting with a dental procedure, running diagnostics, or helping care for a rabbit or ferret. At Northfield Veterinary Hospital, our Registered Veterinary Technicians don't just assist. They are trusted, utilized, and encouraged to keep growing. From surgery and dentistry to small exotics and preventive care, you'll have the opportunity to use your skills, expand your experience, and be part of a team that genuinely enjoys practicing great medicine together.

Why Northfield?

• Built for Technicians Who Love to Be Hands-On: Between surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, anesthesia, and small exotics, you'll have opportunities to use your skills and stay actively involved in patient care every day.
• Dentistry, Surgery & Real Technical Growth: With two dental tables, a dedicated surgical suite, and a therapy laser, you'll have opportunities to build your skills in dentistry, anesthesia, surgery, and patient care every day. Whether you're already confident in surgery or looking to strengthen those skills, we'll support your growth.
• Small Exotics Welcome: In addition to dogs and cats, we regularly care for rabbits, ferrets, and other small exotics, creating variety in your day and opportunities to expand your clinical experience.
• Technicians Are Utilized Here: We believe credentialed technicians should use the skills they worked hard to earn. You'll play an active role in patient care and be trusted as an important member of the medical team.
• Good Medicine Starts With Good Communication: Every day begins with a team huddle because collaboration matters. We communicate, support one another, and work together to provide exceptional care for our patients and clients.
• A Schedule That Leaves Room for Life: We believe great technicians need time to recharge, too. That's why our full-time team works four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays only once per month. Combined with a flexible scheduling approach, you'll have more opportunities to enjoy time outside the hospital while still being part of a highly collaborative team. $23-28/hr
