Senior Transportation Engineer

Responsibilities Serve as lead technical expert in detailed development of urban roadway design projects. Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systems. Provide technical leadership in a specialized area, resolving complex problems. Assume project management duties and client interaction. Supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications MSCE Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, and Microsoft Office applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design. Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng). Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teams. Project management skills desirable. Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignment preparation, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans. Experience coordinating survey, grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout (a plus). Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
