Description

  • Deliver individualized speech therapy intervention focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing challenges.
  • Engage in teamwork with physical therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare providers, and patient families to design harmonious care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families, ensuring they remain integral to the therapeutic process beyond clinical settings.
  • Conduct essential inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions when necessary to uphold a seamless treatment experience.
  • Document all patient interactions comprehensively and promptly, complying with all regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and peer collaboration to maintain your edge in the field.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet holding ASHA certification.
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferably, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
