In this role, you will lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across a complex portfolio of MRO and Facility Services spend, helping drive cost savings, strengthen supplier performance, and support enterprise-wide business priorities.This role oversees approximately $220M in spend across categories such as general industrial, power transmission, electrical, uniforms, pallets, water treatment, recycling, and other facility-related services. You will partner closely with senior leadership, plant and operational stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies that reduce total cost of ownership, mitigate risk, and ensure supply continuity. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across MRO and Facility Services spendDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, and operational efficienciesPartner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs and demand planning prioritiesManage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contracts, performance management, and ongoing governanceAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and benchmarking data to inform sourcing decisions and category strategiesMonitor spend, support forecasting, and track performance against financial and operational targetsIdentify and mitigate supply, pricing, and supplier-related risksDrive procurement best practices, compliance, and process improvements across assigned categoriesBuild strong relationships across plant operations, quality, health & safety, and corporate functions to support enterprise objectivesImportant Details:This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Oak Brook, ILThe anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $122,600 to $184,000 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs.
