Mission of the Position:

Execute nursing services, aboard vessels following the established premises of the PCMSO, acting both curatively and preventively. Must ensure the well-being and health conditions of the embarked personnel and actively act in the multiplication of HSE norms. Responsibilities and duties:

• Update continuously on company procedures, promoting improvements in operations, well-being and safety on board.
• Execute activities according to procedures, corporate policies and values.
• Identify, report and register unsafe conditions or processes in the companys systems.
• Ensure well-being and safety in operations, adopting preventive and corrective measures.
• Act in the health of the embarked personnel according to medical guidance, including administration of medications, monitoring of vital signs and first aid.
• Maintain updated ambulatory records.
• Control inventory and storage of materials and medications.
• Supervise food and hygiene conditions of the vessel.
• Conduct safety briefings in initial embarkations or for external audiences to the crew.
• Register and notify accidents and diseases in interface with medical team and client.
• Activate and coordinate emergency transport, ensuring adequate care.
• Possess desirable qualification for operations with helicopters (landing and take-off).
• Integrate the EMCIA team, acting according to the demand of the onboard team.
• Execute support activities according to leadership guidance.
• Act also in maintenance stops and docking.
• Manage expiration of ASOs, ensuring validity and scheduling of exams.
• Contribute to HSEQ culture, ensuring compliance with practices and norms, including: report of events and safety observations; registration of non-conformities; communication of risks and unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Contribute to ethical culture, ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct.

What experience would we like you to have? Superior Complete in Nursing Previous experience as an Offshore Nurse Advanced English (there will be a test) Desirable:

• Post-graduation in Occupational Nursing
• Training in Advanced ITLS
• Training in ECC
• Advanced Office Suite
• Training in the application of Alcohol & Drug Policy
• Experience in Medical Emergency
