Welder Helper
Join our team as a Welder Helper where you will play a vital role in assisting our welders in preparing materials. You will primarily engage in grinding materials using a hand grinder, making it a labor-intensive role. As an all-around shop helper, you will also perform other duties such as material setup, shop clean-up, and organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist welders in preparing materials using various hand tools and equipment.
- Perform grinding of materials with a hand grinder.
- Set up materials for welding and fabrication.
- Conduct shop clean-up and organization tasks.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a Welder Helper.
- Proficiency in using a grinder.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in weld preparation or welding is an advantage.
Work Environment
The position is based in a non-air-conditioned shop with about 45 employees. The working hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, following a 1st shift schedule.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
