Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Pathways, you will engage in a variety of clinical and therapeutic activities, including:

  • Providing direct services to clients struggling with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.

  • Conducting initial assessments and screenings to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • \n
  • Maintaining an organized caseload, ensuring timely interventions and follow-up on treatment goals through regular progress monitoring.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care quality and client outcomes, focusing on shared goals and integrated treatment approaches.

  • Participating in crisis intervention efforts and providing immediate support to clients facing urgent behavioral health needs.

  • Documenting all client interactions and treatment progress diligently, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds who face a range of mental health challenges. We specifically focus on underserved populations, which may include low-income families, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those with limited access to mental health services. You will employ a trauma-informed approach, recognizing and addressing the unique needs and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.

  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in the state of Georgia.

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n
