Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations of an assigned shift within our M+H production zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production activities align with the production plan, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. Main Tasks Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all safety policies. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and lead quality improvement initiatives to achieve zero defects both internally and externally. Lead and initiate process improvement activities and improvement teams to ensure achievement of goals and objectives. Develop employees toward the attainment of autonomous work teams. Provide clear communication at all levels of the organization, from the operations workforce to senior management. Assist in the development and execution of plant strategy. Ensure the implementation of sustainable improvements. Use data to analyze performance and develop and implement action plans to address issues. Facilitate cross-functional teams in support of continuous improvement activities. Education and Experience: HS Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in technical or business education preferred. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in automotive manufacturing operations. 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience with Visual Manufacturing, including KanBan, Takt Time, and Visual Work Instructions preferred. Skills Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Takt/One piece flow/Pull/5S). Familiarity with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong organizational and planning skills. Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage formulas, spreadsheets, and use Microsoft Word. Self-starter with a disciplined approach to work.
