Logistics Lead

Section LeaderRaytheon's Radars and Sensors Center within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate is searching for a Section Leader to join our team. As a Section Leader, you will be expected to actively participate in department goals and initiatives, support department hiring, support program staffing, provide employee feedback and mentoring, and be actively involved in daily program operations.What You Will DoLead a team of Integrated logistic specialistsEstablish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with the team.Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.Collaborate and communicate with other sections and teams.Support department and directorate level initiatives.Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures.Oversight of personnel issue resolution.Timecard approvals.Adhere to and ensure alignment to Raytheon Technologies Values and Behaviors.Work as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 10% of the employee's time.This position is onsite Portsmouth RI.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.Experience with working with Navy Systems and Products.Qualifications We PreferKnowledge of the Performance Development process.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a geographically dispersed teamExperience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system.Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.Experience in implementing business and program improvements through process improvement methodologies.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
