Join us and make a difference in the lives of seniors every day!We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide (HA) that provides cleaning services to ensure a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and others. Housekeeping services must follow facility policies and procedures and are consistent with state and federal laws and regulations.Essential Duties:Clean assigned resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas daily and according to community policy while maintaining resident privacy and respecting their propertyKeep utility and storage rooms clean and orderlyPost signs indicating a safety hazard any time housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards to staff, residents, visitors, or othersUse personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids in accordance with facility policies and proceduresComply with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemicals, referring to labels and Material Safety Data Sheets for instructionsKeep all chemicals and cleaning supplies in their original containers, ask supervisor if unsure about usageMonitor the workplace for safety and fire hazards and correct or report potential problemReport housekeeping and maintenance problems, including equipment breakdowns, to the supervisorSecure housekeeping supplies so that residents are unable to accessEducation/ Experience Requirements:Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plusExcellent organizational, time-management and computer skillsEnthusiasm and a positive attitudeUnderstand and uphold the policies and procedures established by TCSLWork independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and be a positive leaderDemonstrate practical interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skillsMaintain good working relationships with residents and co-workersAbility to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach and sit for long periodsWillingness to perform additional duties as assignedWhat We Offer:On-Demand Pay so you can access wages you've already earned between paydays.
