About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with post-operative patients. Candidates must be competent with dressing changes, wound care, and drain management. Description: This is a Med Surg unit with 36 beds. The unit is staffed with clinical coordinators, registered nurses, techs, and a unit secretary. Patient ratios are 1:6. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs. Electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude. Strong patient advocacy is essential. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The dress code requires navy blue and white scrubs, with no hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts. Recognition is given for top patient experience scores measured through HCAHPS.
