Senior Solution Architect

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, enterprise technology solutions that support business transformation and modernization initiatives. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to translate business objectives into practical, end-to-end technology solutions while driving architectural best practices across applications, data, cloud, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures that align with business goals and enterprise technology strategy.
• Partner with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leaders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Lead architecture efforts for modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Create architecture roadmaps, target-state designs, and high-level solution documentation.
• Ensure solutions meet functional, security, performance, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Collaborate across application, infrastructure, data, security, and integration teams to deliver cohesive enterprise solutions.
• Promote architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience designing enterprise-scale solution architectures.
• Strong background with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience with enterprise application, data, and systems integration.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and architectural governance.
• Experience creating architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical roadmaps.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• AWS experience is a plus.
• Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including solution architecture or senior technical leadership.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive technology decisions in a collaborative environment.
• Passion for mentoring others and continuously improving architecture practices.
