Then find ways to move fast in the short term, incrementally moving toward the target state.Innovate Across Domains: Engage in API design, event modeling, data modeling, ETL, and the development of business logic and customer-facing features with an emphasis on innovation and excellence.Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with cross-functional teams, integrating customer feedback into the engineering roadmap. Use data (not ego) to support technical discussions.Mentor and Inspire: Uplevel the team, promoting engineering excellence and a culture of continuous learning. Lead by example and advocate for best practices in both development and collaboration.Champion AI-Driven Development: Lead the team's adoption of modern AI development tools and practices, coaching engineers on effective usage, shaping workflows around AI-assisted engineering.What you will needExtensive Experience: +8 years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. 3+ years of experience operating as a senior technical leader on multi-team/system initiatives.Platform Development Expertise: Demonstrated experience building and scaling large-scale platforms for web and mobile applications in complex and ambiguous problem spaces.Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in distributed systems development using Python and AWS. Experience with Golang, Java, Django, or React is a plus.Solid Computer Science Foundations: Ability to tackle challenging and ambiguous technical problems, backed by strong computer science fundamentals.Product Ownership: A high sense of ownership with the ability to drive initiatives through the finish line, even when they cross team boundaries. Quick to learn and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
