This position is responsible for day-to-day electrical and mechanical support for large industrial machines. This includes providing leadership, organizing work, performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance, responding to down equipment by troubleshooting and making necessary repairs and completing of scheduled workorders.Primary Responsibilities Include:Troubleshoot and maintain the electrical-mechanical machines in manufacturing facilityPerform changeover activities on large mechanical equipmentPerform repairs on equipment as neededCoordinate and work with other technicians in the daily support of serving and repairing manufacturing equipmentDocuments actions, parts, and time usage to workordersIdentifies, advises, and implements safety/Quality improvementsAbility to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation supportPerforms basic troubleshooting for electrical problems with single phase and 3 phase motors, wiring and controlsDecipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot various types of equipment malfunctions.Perform evaluations of new technologies with potential application as a new process or as a modification to existing equipment.Assist engineers, production managers, and technologists and lead in assessing the impact of equipment malfunction.Support the plant SIM processesWork with Cross functional teamsOther duties requested by supervisor as neededThe Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following:High School Diploma or EquivalentAssociates in Electronics or Electromechancial Tech certification or Industrial Mechanic certification preferred2-5 years of experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.Demonstrated experience in maintaining large industrial machines.Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, up to 12 hours.Must be able to frequently climb ladders and stairs.Must be able to climb on and around equipment, which includes bending, stooping, standing, walking, crawling, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.Must be able to see/hear to visually and audibly troubleshoot equipment, acknowledge alarms, and perform inspections.Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of the upper and lower extremities.Must be able to grip, grasp, push, and pull with varying degrees of force.Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to wear appropriate PPE including hearing protection, ANSI safety shoes, safety glasses, respirators, and all other required PPE.What We Offer YouWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
