$22 to $25/hr | Full-time

Ready to run the floor? As a Shift Supervisor, you lead the store when you're on: keeping the team moving, the case looking sharp, and every customer leaving happy. You're still hands-on at the counter, just with the whole store in view.

What you'll do

• Lead opening, mid-day, and closing shifts: set the plan, delegate tasks, and keep every station covered
• Jump in wherever you're needed: fish counter, sushi, kitchen, grab-and-go, and register
• Set the tone for customer service and handle customer issues with care
• Receive deliveries, check quality, and set the fish case and prepared foods case to par
• Run your shift with our digital tools: checklists, ordering, online orders, and team training
• Place evening fish and kitchen orders and complete the nightly stock count
• Complete shift paperwork: temp logs, opening and closing checklists, waste logs, and cash deposits
• Train and coach Fish Counter Associates and new team members
• Keep the General Manager in the loop on product, staffing, and customer feedback

What you'll learn

• Running a full store shift from open to close
• Ordering, inventory, and keeping waste in check
• Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation
• Kitchen setup and prepared foods execution
• Coaching and developing a team
• Our custom back-office system and Opus training platform, used every shift to keep the store on track

What we're looking for

• 1+ year in food retail, grocery, seafood, or restaurants
• Experience leading others, formally or informally
• Calm under pressure and great at juggling a busy shift
• Solid food safety knowledge, with a Food Handler certification (or willing to get one)
• Comfortable with tablets, apps, and learning new technology
• Comfortable handling raw seafood and working in cold spaces
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements
