FPGA / ASIC Design & Verification Engineer

About the role

Drive ASIC and FPGA development on an R&D program, building DSP, high speed digital, high speed communication and system-on-chip designs on FPGA platforms for future space products.

What you will do

• Develop, test and integrate DSP, high speed digital and SoC designs on FPGA platforms
• Work with COTS control platforms and embedded processors on FPGAs
• Automate and script FPGA development flows to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with systems architects, RF/analog and digital designers and ASIC/FPGA engineers
• Contribute to design, simulation, verification, integration and test of complex high speed products

What you bring

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related (6 to 10 years with BS, 4 to 8 with MS)
• Verification experience with digital or mixed-signal ASICs/FPGAs
• HDL programming in VHDL, Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
• Secret or Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain (U.S. citizenship)

• Leading ASIC projects
• Space system design and space hardware requirements
• Customer facing communication
• AI prompting proficiency applied to engineering work

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
