Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant II to provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for patient care and plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered service.
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant II to provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for patient care and plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered service.
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, delivering excellent customer service
- Perform clinical duties including:
- Taking vital signs
- dministering injections
- Collecting specimens and drawing blood
- Performing basic diagnostic tests
- Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing equipment
- Gather and document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- ssist physicians and nurses in delivering direct patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and data entry
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support a high-volume environment with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism
- 2+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience in a clinical (back-office) setting
- ctive Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook and EMR systems

- Willingness to participate in required health screenings
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual abilities
- Hands-on phlebotomy experience
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Familiarity with HEDIS measures
