Mental Health Associate – Psych Adult (Part-Time, Evening) The Associate-Mental Health (MHA) provides patient care under the direct supervision of a RN, with indirect supervision of mental health skills by an employed Mental Health Professional. The role includes hospital-level patient care, support, and milieu management for patients with behavioral health conditions. Under the direction of an RN, the MHA observes and reports on patient conditions and changes, and collaborates with the treatment team to develop treatment plans. The MHA is responsible for monitoring and alerting care team leaders of any change in status of patients on the inpatient psychiatric unit. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field, or equivalent in a medical field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry. At least 3 years of mixed experience in residential inpatient, psych outpatient, or acute settings (not necessarily behavioral health). National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with RN and treatment team members. Compensation Base salary range: $22.44 – $34.33 per hour. Shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, and other incentives may apply.
