Patient Access Conversion Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION Patient Access Conversion Specialist Hours: Monday through Friday between 8a - 5pm Onsite at Local medical Office- Wheaton Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance. Responsibilities Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone Patient Appointment Scheduling Sets the tone for a positive experience Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Perform all otherduties/responsibilitiesas assigned Reviewing schedule Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day. Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Three years of patient/client-facing experience Customer Focus: Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction levels for internal and external customers. Integrity/Ethics: Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, sincerity. Trusted to do the right thing. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.34 - $24.50 , with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
