U.S. citizenship is required. Job Summary: Senior Manager, Contracts within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit. The role develops contract strategy and executes within the Space, Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance Sub‑Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). It is an individual‑contributor position supporting program area directors, reporting directly to the Associate Director, Contracts. Responsibilities Manage the development of both commercial and government proposals, negotiations, contractual agreements, contract execution, and day‑to‑day administration. Provide contractual guidance to senior management concerning obligations, rights, obligations, and risk mitigation. Ensure contractual scope and terms align with overall contract scope and customer requirements. Build positive customer relationships and resolve contractual matters while engaging Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions. Communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance and provide guidance on contractual and business issues. Qualifications – Must Have University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 10 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 7 years experience. Experience with U.S. Government and/or Defense contracts management and administration. Knowledge of acquisition regulations such as FAR/DFARS and other customer supplementals. Experience with U.S. Government acquisitions and/or proposal activities, including sole‑source and competitive proposals.
