Manufacturing Quality Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for performing detailed inspections of fabricated tube assemblies using precision measurement equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Generates and submits inspection reports to customers while supporting and maintaining compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Conduct first article and in-process inspections using surface plates, CMMs, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments. Prepare and submit inspection documentation in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Support and maintain compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Perform internal audits and quality surveillance activities. Oversee and guide personnel involved in inspection and testing processes. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of purchased materials and components. Investigate customer quality concerns and assist in implementing corrective actions. Maintain awareness of ISO 9001 standards and quality responsibilities. Prepare routine reports, records, and correspondence. Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles. Perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Manufacturing setting. Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA, Process Flow, MSA, and Supplier Audits. Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
