Certified Surgical Technician

Our client is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the operating room. Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room, including the sterile field, and set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions. Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery. Manage surgical equipment and ensure its proper functioning. Maintain and manage the sterile field and specimens during surgical procedures. Perform sponge and supply counts to prevent retained foreign objects. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment. Requirements: New graduate or graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program. National certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) after passing the examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
