Construction Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Operations Manager to oversee heavy highway and civil construction operations. This role is ideal for a Project manager or superintendent with a strong understanding of the end-to-end construction process, particularly within earthwork-intensive heavy highway projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations across heavy highway construction projectsManage the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through execution and closeoutCoordinate field operations, scheduling, manpower, equipment, and subcontractorsDrive productivity, quality, safety, and cost control across projectsCollaborate with project management, estimating, and executive leadershipEnsure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with company standardsQualifications:Proven experience in heavy highway construction, with a strong emphasis on earthworkSolid operational understanding of grading, excavation, roadway construction, and site developmentExperience with bridge and or utility work is a plus, but not requiredPreference for candidates with experience working in the Northeast marketStrong leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsBenefitsSalary 120-140k (based on experience) Company vehicle or allowance Medical & Vision InsuranceDental InsuranceSick LeavePaid Vacation & Holiday Pay401(k) Plan
