Manufacturing EngineerLocation(s) Palatka, Florida Company Georgia-Pacific Career Field EngineeringOwn all asset strategies for the palletizers and building the capability of the on shift team to execute these strategies.Continuing leading and performing as SME around E80 Smartbox Palletizing equipment.Utilize PLC software for better troubleshooting and greater understanding of machine function, capabilities, and help transform how we work. Stretch Wrap Verification and Robot Condition monitoring.Identify and understand top losses and target effective and efficient work to reduce or eliminate losses for TAD, AS, and K Lines.Audit inspection and lube routes in each area weekly.Implement Annual Robot lubrication plan.Conduct and complete RCAs on all equipment failures to PDCA strategies.Work with entire team to maintain equipment and provide ongoing troubleshooting support and centerlines to adhere to quality requirements.Audit stretch wrap testing in each area.Provide SBOs for new master techs and continue to develop MBM® culture around Smartbox Palletizing equipment to drive ownership.Continue to grow skills and capabilities as ME.Continue efforts to implement Playbook and appropriate work processes.Ensure proper strategies and training are in place to create independently successful crews for E80 Smartbox Palletizer equipment in each area.Continue to work with the platform group to grow capabilities of other facilities and share knowledge across the different mills.Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering OR in lieu of a degree, two (2) or more years of manufacturing, industrial, operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering support, or related experience.Experience managing projects with a variety of size and scope.Experience applying reliability concepts as they relate to asset strategies.This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringTwo (2) or more years of experience LEADING in an automated system.Experience applying reliability concepts as they relate to asset strategies.Knowledge of Elettric80 vehicles or systemsAt Koch, employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better.
