Travel L&D Registered Nurse - $1,875 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Details Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Pay Package: Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job ID: 1424285 Responsibilities As an L&D travel nurse, responsibilities include: Stay with and monitor the patient throughout labor. Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques. Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation. Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids before and after the birthing process. Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc. Immediate care of newborn. Qualifications and Requirements Minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience. Must be prepared for prolonged standing, walking, bending, leaning, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
