Plumbing Service Technician

Plumbing TechnicianPlumbing Technicians will be responsible for all aspects of the service, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of the plumbing systems in residential homes. This includes installing and repairing sinks, water heaters, toilets, other plumbing fixtures, cleaning drains, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals. You will accurately diagnose plumbing problems and communicate with clients the options and upgrades that increase safety and enhance the quality/health of life for homeowners.Essential Job FunctionsExecute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues, including leak detectionPerform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issuesAlways explain to the customer what service you are performing and give exact prices & gain approval before doing the workEstablish customer rapport to sell the right products and services for the customer's needs and wantsInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixturesEnsure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulationsEducate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat businessMaintain your truck so that it is always neat and clean on the inside and outsideWork alongside Customer Service and Dispatch team to ensure overall success of the businessMaintain detailed records of services, including documenting pictures of before and after services have been completedAlways be safety conscious both on the job and while drivingParticipate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreatsTrain and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installationsEssential Job RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to adequately perform each essential duty.
