Material HandlerSURESTAFF is immediately hiring Material Handler for a plastics injection molding position in Sturtevant, WI. The Material Handler position supports operations, maintains production flow, provides accurate production ticketing and paperwork while keeping work area organized and clean. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19-$20/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include: 7:00pm - 7:00am Monday-Friday.Responsibilities of the Material Handler:Maintains appropriate levels of prepared Dunnage for production packaging.Ensures product is properly labelled and recordedMonitors production as totes or pallets fill, removing, closing, ticketing and placing in warehouseSupports crew where needed.Keeps production area organized and clean.May load raw material (resin, preforms, etc.)Pulls stock, fills out shipping manifest and loads trailers for with finished product for deliveriesDisposes of scrap and recycling – may utilize bailers or grinders.Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP practices and Global Food Safety practicesMay perform rework/sorting duties.Required Qualifications of the Material Handler:Previous Fork truck experience is requiredGood experience and knowledge in warehouse managementGood interpersonal skills – ability to read/write EnglishPerform basic math functionsPerform basic clerical skills, maintain Bill of Lading paperworkAbility to climb, sit, stand and walk on a varying basis throughout work scheduleAbility to carry and/or maneuver up to 75 poundsAbout Surestaff:At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
