Clarke Powered Services is looking for a Sales Account Manager to fuel our growth for both our on and off highway sectors to include the Louisville and Georgetown, KY markets. This is more than a sales role—it’s an opportunity to leverage your technical service background and sales expertise to build strategic partnerships that keep critical trucks and diesel-powered equipment running strong.

About The Role

As a Sales Account Manager , you’ll be the boots on the ground helping customers solve real-world mechanical challenges. You’ll work with municipalities, service departments, equipment managers, and fleet operators to sell repairs, parts, and service solutions that add value and minimize downtime.

Your mechanical acumen and field experience in the On Highway or Industrial Diesel markets will give you credibility with customers and your sales drive will keep our service centers busy with high-quality, high-margin work.

The candidate must be located in the territory, preferably in the Louisville or Georgetown KY markets to best serve the customer

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Prospect, network, and grow your pipeline through cold calling, social media, site visits, and industry events.
• Partner with fleet owners, municipalities, other government agencies, service centers and rental yards to secure parts and service business that drives margin and satisfaction.
• Connect with decisionmakers, build lasting relationships, and bring parts and service business directly into our Louisville and Georgetown branches and to our field service technicians.
• Travel, attend trade shows, and showcase the products and services we offer.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers get the right fit for their needs and maximize value.
• Work with our Marketing team to generate sales materials to showcase Clarke Powered Services product offerings and services.
• Assist with budget forecasting and overall territory strategy.
• Assist with service contract bids, quotations and fleet management agreements.
• Participate in sales blitzes for other Clarke branches.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• College degree or 5+ years of sales experience in one or more of the following areas: Fleet Management, Electric Power market, Industrial Diesel Repair, or Industrial Equipment Environment.
• Proven track record of successful territory expansion.
• Experience in the Microsoft suite of products, Power BI, CRM, etc.
• Confident in cold and warm calling with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Exceptional time and territory management skills.
• A natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills.
• Mechanically inclined and familiar with generators, trucking industry, or diesel engine service.
• Goal-oriented, competitive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Openness to training, development and coachability.
• Holds a valid driver’s license and is comfortable with frequent travel.
