Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU)

Job Description


Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU Float Pool


Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week


Length: 13 weeks


Requirements:

• MO license
• 2 years of experience
• Telemetry experience required (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin), PCU experience preferred
• Progressive Care/Step-Down (Levophed, Nicardipine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Neosynephrine, Dobutamine) and ICU experience preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• TNCC required for ICU candidates

Other Details:

• EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts)
• Float: Based off skills and 1st to float
• Weekend: Every other weekend
• On-Call: None
• Holiday: Some required
• Orientation: Days 1 and 2 - TUKHS 2-day orientation. Day 3 - Liberty orientation and Clinical orientation. Day 4 - continued Clinical orientation. Day 5 - computer work, then dismissed to units (varies by unit).
