Litigation Associate Attorney – Seattle, WA
A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Seattle team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility and continue developing as a litigator.
What You'll Do
- Handle a caseload from initial case development through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings and other court proceedings
- Work closely with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters
- Communicate with clients and provide case updates
- Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Active Washington Bar membership
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with discovery and pretrial motions
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with complex litigation, product liability, toxic tort, or other liability matters is a plus. Deposition, courtroom and trial experience is also preferred.
