Wholesale Internship Overview Lizzie Fortunato is a New York City-based accessories brand founded in 2008 by twin sisters Elizabeth and Kathryn Fortunato. The Lizzie Fortunato team, based in Soho, NYC, is composed of 20 creative, passionate individuals who have grown the business to a leading jewelry and accessories brand sold domestically and internationally. Who You Are You are an eager and enthusiastic go‑getter. You are excited to learn about the ins and outs of jewelry sales, press management, and small business operations, and are willing to assume any task, no matter how small or large. You are a fast learner, you are detail‑oriented, and you are optimistic and excited to make the most of your time at Lizzie Fortunato. What You Will Do Assist in sample coordination – fill wholesale and press requests and traffic samples with strong attention to detail. Includes entering press loans into the company’s database and communicating with press and retail outlets to call back samples or request press credits on a regular basis. Assist the sales team during market with appointment scheduling, note taking and showroom management. Fill-in copy sheets with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy around product and collection information. Provide assets (imagery, copy, etc.) to wholesale accounts. Create wholesale recaps on existing and prospective wholesale accounts. Assist sales team in coordinating shipping seasonal, immediate orders and reorders with the operations team. Pull weekly sales reports to analyze sales trends and create weekly bestseller reports. Update weekly ATS reports for the Wholesale team to review. Create and send seasonal product knowledge packets to accounts. Ad‑hoc requests: assist the team with various requests and analysis as they relate to ongoing projects or initiatives. Qualifications Passionate about Lizzie Fortunato brand and small / start‑up setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to multitask on several projects. Excellent time management skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Self‑motivated and highly organized. Details 2-3 days per week depending on candidate’s schedule and LF’s needs, and additional availability during market weeks. Paid hourly: $15 / hour. Internships last the duration of the semester with potential extension based on performance and availability.
