ICU Float Pool RN – West Hollywood, CA

Location: West Hollywood, CA 90048
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Float Pool RN for a travel assignment in West Hollywood, CA. This is a true float pool position , with the nurse expected to float between ICU and various lower-acuity units based on hospital needs.

Floating Expectations

The RN will float to:

• ICU
• Med/Surg
• Telemetry
• PCU
• Stepdown
• Overflow units
• Overflow PACU
• Other MS/Tele/PCU units as needed

Floating is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU experience
• PA Line experience REQUIRED
  • Candidates without PA Line experience should not be submitted
  • PA Line experience will be assessed during the phone interview and additional skills checklist
• Large hospital experience required
• Experience at a 400+ bed facility required
• Active California RN License
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NIH – Required
• First-time travelers accepted , provided they meet the 400+ bed facility requirement

EKG Assessment

• An EKG assessment will be administered on the first day of orientation
• A passing score is required to proceed with the contract

Assignment Highlights

• ICU Float Pool position
• 36 or 48 hours available
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• First-time travelers accepted with qualifying large-hospital experience
• Opportunity to work across multiple high-acuity units in a large hospital environment

Important: PA Line experience and 400+ bed hospital experience are hard requirements for this position.
