Job Overview Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour days Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. The PT will set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record the patient's condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
