Position Summary: Operate smaller passenger vans safely and efficiently, transporting students along assigned routes, adhering to schedule, safety regulations, and district/company policies. Key Responsibilities Drive assigned van or vehicle along specified routes, or to/from pickups & drop-offs. Ensure passenger safety during boarding, transit, and exit; assist as needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks; report mechanical or safety concerns. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle; adhere to company driver schedules, logs, policies. Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding schedule changes, student concerns, route delays. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license. Good driving record, ability to pass company driver screening (MVR, drug testing). Ability to interact courteously with passengers, parents, staff. Ability to navigate routes, adjust for conditions, maintain schedule.
