Restaurant Grill Prep & Truck Opener

We are looking for experienced restaurant kitchen team members to help with grill and truck opening shifts!

The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 pounds and is familiar with FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Availability is required on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

This role is a great fit for someone seeking part-time work in the mornings-responsibilities include unloading the truck and opening the grill area. However, it can also be expanded into a full-time position (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for the right candidate. After completing the truck and grill setup, the team member will take a 31-minute meal break before returning to the kitchen to assist with preparing ButterBurgers and cheese curds. Our back-of-house (BOH) opening kitchen crew members are experts at moving quickly in a fast-paced environment and getting us prepped and ready for the day! Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a kitchen setting
• Ability to lift 50 pound boxes
• Good communication skills
• Dependability
• Excited to come to work
• Likes to keep busy in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

• Restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)

• Move items weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs
• Possess manual dexterity for assembly
• Able to reach, bend, push, pull and/or stretch body to grab or move items
• Remain in a standing/sitting position for 4 or more hours at a time
• Able to quickly move about inside and outside the restaurant
• Able to use various kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, grills, toasters, etc. if allowed to by law
• Exposure to cold temperatures from coolers and freezers, as well as heat from cooking equipment
• Exposure to weather such as heat, cold, rain, snow and wind
• Able to see, read, and comprehend a variety of written or displayed media
