About The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to own the end-to-end accounts payable function. Despite the title, this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The ideal Accounts Payable Manager will bring a big-picture perspective, understanding the entire AP lifecycle from invoice receipt through payment while identifying opportunities for process improvements and stronger controls. Responsibilities For The Accounts Payable Manager Role Own the full-cycle accounts payable process, including vendor setup, invoice processing, approvals, and payments. Prepare month-end journal entries related to expense accruals and support the month-end close process. Serve as the primary owner of account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of AP-related balances. Troubleshoot and optimize invoice automation software while partnering with accounting leadership on process improvement initiatives. Manage high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced distribution environment while maintaining accuracy and strong internal controls. Qualifications For The Accounts Payable Manager Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including ownership of the full AP cycle. Strong account reconciliation, accrual, and month-end close experience. Experience working in a high-volume environment with the ability to see both the details and the bigger picture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
