Audiologist
Black Women's Mental Health Institute
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Key responsibilities include conducting in-person disability assessments, reviewing electronic medical records via a secure portal, performing Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to generate necessary medical documentation. Qualifications required are an Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited school, current licensure as an Audiologist, and proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals. Skills needed include strong analytical abilities, excellent time management, professionalism with an empathetic demeanor when engaging with Veterans. This part-time, in-person role involves assessing 3-6 Veterans daily, with equipment provided.
