Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Participate in holiday coverage — expected to work 2 out of 4 designated holidays; minimal holiday RTO
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
• Pass a compliance EKG exam prior to assignment start (2 attempts allowed)
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• RTO must be submitted with application; no post-submission RTO accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Experience in a STEMI- and Stroke-certified facility preferred
