Regional Sales Manager (Steel)
Movement Search & Delivery
POSITION PURPOSE
To develop new customers and opportunities for add value products. Manage sales for direct OEM business and steel distribution centers for automotive end-users. Support rest of local organization (SSS) with all SSE sales policies and governance, price strategy and product strategy
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Negotiation of current business on regular cadence.
- Foster current customer relationships and establish new ones.
- Responsible for assigned area with special focus on Premium product sales strategy development.
- Sales management tools; Sales Force, Price configurator Forecasting Tool
- Business development identifies all possible opportunities, which can be offered by SSAB.
- Identifying target customers and strategy as it relates to overall growth objectives.
- Interfacing with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development as part of a working team.
- Regular and reliable attendance
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Driver’s license
- Knowledge in metals products, special products, and Automotive.
- Experience establishing and growing relationships with OEMs
- Customer Service Experience
- Negotiation experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, notably Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work autonomously; self-starting
Education
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or five years of equivalent sales work experience
Preferred:
- MBA
