Regional Sales Manager (Steel)

Movement Search & Delivery

POSITION PURPOSE

To develop new customers and opportunities for add value products. Manage sales for direct OEM business and steel distribution centers for automotive end-users. Support rest of local organization (SSS) with all SSE sales policies and governance, price strategy and product strategy

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Negotiation of current business on regular cadence.
  • Foster current customer relationships and establish new ones.
  • Responsible for assigned area with special focus on Premium product sales strategy development.
  • Sales management tools; Sales Force, Price configurator Forecasting Tool
  • Business development identifies all possible opportunities, which can be offered by SSAB.
  • Identifying target customers and strategy as it relates to overall growth objectives.
  • Interfacing with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development as part of a working team.
  • Regular and reliable attendance

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Driver’s license
  • Knowledge in metals products, special products, and Automotive.
  • Experience establishing and growing relationships with OEMs
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Negotiation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, notably Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously; self-starting

Education

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or five years of equivalent sales work experience

Preferred:

  • MBA
