Receiving Associate

Warehouse Receiving PositionReporting to the shift Warehouse Lead or Receiving Manager, this position has primary responsibility for all functions and paperwork relating to receiving material into our distribution facility.Job Duties:Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving all products entering the warehouseVerifying actual products received against packing slipsConfirming product integrity and ensuring products are placed in the correct and appropriate locationsOperating machinery including a forklift in a safe and proper mannerPutting away stock and routing materials to proper locations using work devices such as forklift, cherry picker, or sorting binsMaintaining cleanliness of receiving area including loading docks and trash areasCommunicate consistently with management, all branch personnelDetails:Monday – Friday40 hours (OT available depending on NEFCO needs)Requirements:Qualifications:High school diploma (or equivalent)Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software systemAbility to use warehouse layouts for planning purposesBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plusBasic computer skillsMust have a positive, hard-working attitudeAbility to establish priorities, work independently and little supervisionAbility to multitaskExcellent communication skillsAbility to stands on concrete floor for long periods of timeMust be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of timeAbility to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for liftingAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documentsThis is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
