Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. Address the whole patient and treat them as an individual, aiming to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. Collaborate with peers and refer patients to additional care as needed. Ensure patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. The candidate must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
